Faith Out Loud is not a program. It is a posture — a commitment to living out our faith beyond the walls of worship and into the streets, the sanctuaries, the polling places, and the everyday decisions of ordinary people willing to act with courage, clarity, and conviction.
Our campaigns and initiatives are how that posture becomes practice. Each one is a different door into the same work: building community, engaging democracy as a sacred responsibility, and standing where justice is threatened — in partnership with congregations, organizers, and communities across the country who are doing the same.

Freedom forward
Freedom Forward 2026 is a nationwide, multifaith effort organized by Powered by Faith, Faith Out Loud, IMAN, and Jews for Freedom. It is rooted in the belief that democracy must be more than a system we defend. It must become a lived promise of dignity, justice, belonging, and opportunity for every person.
While Freedom Forward is growing in cities throughout the country, Faith Out Loud is heavily rooted with Freedom Forward-Atlanta, anchored by Ebenezer Baptist Church, The Temple, Ray of Hope Christian Church, and Atlanta Masjid, in collaboration with Faith Rooted ATL, The King Center, 10 Steps, Faiths United to Save Democracy, Black Voters Matter, and other partners committed to building a thriving and inclusive democracy.

We the People is an invitation to co-author an open letter to people of faith — one that rejects the growing tyranny in our country and claims the future we deserve.
On August 17at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT, thousands of people of faith and conscience across the country will come together— in real time, online — to lay down the frustrations of the moment, imagine a new reality inspired by the wisdom of our faiths, and name the actions people of faith can take to make it real.
